This option is suggested for open/glass cabinets and is standard on many cabinets such as open bookcases. A Matching Interior option available where the cabinet interior is the same species and finish as the outside. Interior is prefinished in a UV cured acrylic topcoat. Standard sides/tops/bottoms: 1/2″ thick plywood sides/tops/bottoms with real wood veneered interior.Face frames will overhang the cabinet side by 5/16″ unless the flush end option is requested& (only available on Advantage).Custom front frame configurations are available.3/4″ thick solid wood face frames with 1-1/2″ wide stiles and rails unless otherwise specified.11/16″ plywood sides are available as an option. Matching interior cabinets will always use a plywood shelf.

Solid wood shelves are available as an upgrade on most models. 3/4″ plywood veneered/edge banded shelves are standard.Widths are as measured at the front frame, the widest part of the cabinet.Depths called out with each cabinet are from the back of the cabinet to the front of the face frame and do not include the thickness of the door and drawer front.Office base cabinets are 24″ deep, but 18″ to 24″ are available in most models.(Most companies offer 12″ deep as standard). Wall cabinets are generally 12.5″ deep as standard, but other depths are available as needed.Therefore, opening widths on these cabinets are fixed.

  • Media cabinets with multi sections have fixed vertical panels that cannot be modified for location.
  • A designer or Cabinet Coach can help you with this. We simply need a drawing of your face frame with its opening sizes and what you want in each opening.
  • If you require a custom configuration for any cabinet that falls within a standard office/media cabinet size range, we can configure a cabinet almost any way you desire.
  • Media cabinets have a standard 4” high recessed toe box, but can be ordered with a flush toe. This allows the cabinet to have more storage space than a cabinet with a 4” toe box, but it also means these cabinets will not line up with standard base cabinets that have a 4” toe box. Instead, they come standard with a 2.5” flush toe.
  • There is no toe kick space on office cabinets.
  • Media cabinets are available 31.5″ to 34.5″ high in 1/16″ increments.
  • Home office base cabinets are 29.5″ high standard, no customization is allowed.
